The result rail keeps source and consequence aligned. Rich template previews add interpretation without replacing the authored model.
Result rail
Each visible evaluable line receives a result chip. Click a chip to copy its formatted value. Assignment and subtotal-assignment chips can also drive Dependency Glow; plain expressions remain copy-only.
Template input ranges collapse into a compact summary card in the rail. Incomplete preview data receives a neutral state rather than a fabricated conclusion.
Floating statistics
The floating aggregate can show Total, Average, Count, or Median. Right-click or Ctrl+click the card to choose a statistic, and use Settings to show or hide it. Mobile intentionally hides the floating card to preserve editing space.
Template previews
Production templates emit reusable preview sections such as metric strips, projection timelines, risk/resilience views, and readiness signals. Primary conclusions appear first; supporting context begins collapsed. The source remains editable before, during, and after preview.

A rich template preview is ready in the full workspace.
Simulation
Open Preview and expand Playground to explore adjustable numeric inputs without rewriting the document. Simulated values are runtime-only. Reset Simulation, edit the source, or switch previews to return to the authored baseline.
Template-specific labels and ranges keep sliders meaningful. Preview charts, conclusions, warnings, and supporting metrics recompute from the override set after a short debounce.
Mobile results
On narrow screens the desktop split rail becomes a mobile result sheet. It preserves formatted results and template summaries while keeping the text editor readable. Workspace navigation moves into a drawer, and desktop-only resizing controls are omitted.
